Kiss the Boys by Chris Myers
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was hauntingly beautiful like I imagine Nate’s angel’s to be. It was tragic yet so much blossoms and grows from that tragedy and so many people learn to love and forgive and grow-up and become the people they are meant to be all because of one woman. I love the lesson that can be learned from this book about not giving up through any tragedy and to fight for your life, your dreams, love, your future, someone else’s future, something, everything, just FIGHT! River absolves these boys of all their sins…it’s the perfect name. She gives everyone absolution. Don’t get me wrong, there are many triggers in this book so be forewarned. It deals with rape, drugs, PTSD, abuse, and lots of guilt and anger, but I love this book. Myers is a gifted writer who is able to tackle so many sensitive issues for both boys and girls who survive rape and abuse and the foster system. and feel shame and guilt but Myers does a beautiful job handling these tough topics. Everyone should read this book and realize what can happen and how just one person can make a difference.

I really liked this book a lot. I am always a sucker for happy endings and 2nd chances. I just kept expecting something huge to happen to Blythe. I mean his secret is bad but it’s not tragic like I thought. Anyways, the book was easy to read and flowed well. It kept me engaged, and I fell in love with both Dixon and Eden. There were parts of this book that felt too much too fast like the part with her mom or Dixon being as blind as he was about family, but besides that their relationship is hard and fast, but I really enjoyed the ride.

Wow! Just WOW! I have read many threesome books, but never one like this. This book was so much more than just a pleasure party. I mean don’t get me wrong-this book was so sexy I thought my panties were going to melt off, but this book tackled much more on an emotional level. I always have heard stories of people who struggle with their sexuality-the fear, the confusion, the uncertainty, but Raven really gives the reader a front row seat to that struggle. She captures the bigotry of Joel’s father and fear of acceptance from the world. But I also loved the many faces of acceptance and love found in Joel’s world, too. My heart hurts for anyone who would have to suffer from not being who he/she is or be with who he/she loves because of hate and fear in the world. Raven’s book opens up lots of questions for the world, so I gave it a five and hope whoever reads it next will also feel so appreciative of Raven’s talents and her hope for a better world.

Joel and Jethro. Roommates. Total hunks. Inseparable friends. Hot as hell.

Meet my fantasy boyfriends. Aren’t they just the sexiest, cutest thing? I know, right? They totally are. They are hot, too hot for a quiet – and obsessed with them – girl working in a bookshop.

That’d be me, by the way.

There’s also the tiny problem of Joel wanting another girl. And as for Jethro, well… he doesn’t do girls. Or maybe he doesn’t do relationships. He certainly doesn’t do boys, so he isn’t doing his best and very male friend… right? Much less his male friend and me at the same time.

So it’s fine to crush on them. And write a serial story on my blog in which we have tantric sex in every possible position.

All three of us. Together. Touching, and licking, and sucking, and screwing.

I mean, it’s okay. It’s perfectly safe. They’ll never even know I exist, much less find out about my blog and my secret fantasy about them.

Yeah, that’s what I thought, too.
